A story to show u just how badly Hashem wants His children to return to Him no matter how far they seemed to have strayed from Him...there was a family and they had a son.. He pretty much went off the derech and moved away from his parents but they still kept in touch and updated eo on things they were upto.. He got involved w this girl and the parents told him that she wasn't good for him but he stayed w her anyways and married her, she was wealthy so he didn't work and then soon they got divorced and he was left penniless and homeless, he had no where to go but back to his parents house he was too ashamed to call them so he wrote them a letter saying that he had no where to go and if they can find a way to forgive him and let him come home they should put a white ribbon around the oak tree by their house and hell passs by the tree and that'll b the sign for him to kno if he can come back home or not.. So he's on the bus and he tells this guy nxt to him the whole story and he says to him "I'm too nervous to pass my house let's say there is no string and they don't want me? Can u look out the window for me and tell me If u see a white ribbon on the oak tree . He agrees that hell tell him when they pass it.. When they get to the stop the guys jaw drops and the son freaks out bc by the look on his face it seemed like there wasn't a ribbon.. The guy says to the son.. I'm sorry but there isn't 1 single white ribbon on that tree .. His heart sinks.. The man continues and says I don't even see a tree bc there are 100's of white ribbons all over covering the entire thing!!!!! This is exactly how much Hashem wants us to do teshuva and return to Him even tho we dont always listen to Him during year.. May we all b zocheh to see the white ribbons and always return to our Father after we fall.
